Sometimes we don't like to admit it but we are always looking for confirmation. What I mean is that we are looking for small bits of acknowledgement or praise. Something that makes us feel good about who we are and where we're going. Even when you break open a fortune cookie, we secretly hope that it speaks to us.
I always hope mine speaks to me. Sometimes I speak to it! Lol. You are correct we seek validation and confirmation in even the smallest things.
